“HOMELESS”, “ABUSED”, “NEGLECTED”, “STARVING”, “INJURED”,”TRAPPED”,”ENDANGERED” are not pretty words.  We encourage you to help eliminate these words describing thousands of animals in desperate need of help. You are able to make a huge difference by becoming involved in legislative and other actions which help protect animals.

Remember, their misfortune is not their fault, but it is the responsibility of humans to fix.

Please don’t close your eyes to this horrendous problem. Over-population, puppy mills, dog fighting, and even unintentional neglect from lack of education are all culprits in the doom of many animals.  You can help put a stop to the suffering of animals.  Do NOT purchase pets from pet stores, “backyard” breeders, or anywhere.  DO adopt from public animal shelters and reputable animal rescue groups. 

You can also make a donation by sending a check made payable to “HEART” at P.O. Box 974, Yorba Linda, CA, 92885.  With your help, HEART is able to continue moving forward on the road saving lives!  

100% of all monetary donations received are used directly for the welfare and benefit of animals.  Your contribution will help provide much needed medical services to homeless pets and pets living in impoverished communities, rescue and housing for abused, neglected and surrendered pets, and will help provide other supplies and services for pets in need.  No funds are used towards administrative costs.  We also welcome donations of pet food and new and gently used pet items which we distribute to pet owners experiencing homelessness.
